In darkness

Imagine a world where we lived in complete darkness .
The only glow we felt was the voice .
Eyes were blacked out , sewed shut . 
The ears danced and played aloud .
Blind couldn't lead the blind .
So light was given , she's such a beautiful gift .
The birds and the bees . The waters and the trees .
Yet our eyes , the very eyes brought darkness out to the world .
They blinded the heart .
