In memory of Cain MacDonald

In memory of Cain MacDonald

I wrote this poem for my cousin Macca who lost his son Cain at a very young age ..

The last time that you seen me da
It feels so long ago
But please don’t think that I’m not there
I go wherever you go

I know it’s unfair our time was cut short
But in that short time look what we had
Playing football with you and Reagan
You are and were the best dad

I watch you every day
mum and Reagan too
I laugh when you laugh and cuddle you when you cry
Because I never want to see you feel blue

I’m not alone here either
Grandads with me too
There’s not anyone else on this planet
I love the way I do you

So the next time you think of me dad
Please don’t feel sad
Remember your my everything
My number one dad

Thank you brian ,

My cousin Macca was very happy and touched to receive this poem last night from his Angel Cain , I thought it was only right to publish it on here :)
