In the arms of the Lord 🙏

Please be kind to me when I know not what I say

As the gloominess of uncertainty has captivated my dismay

Amidst the hollowness of my heart there lies a throbbing beat

Tho my limbs are no longer nimble nor am I comfortable on my feet

Talk to me so I may listen seeking solace before I go

I shan’t be able to answer from that voice you used to know

Back in bygone days of your childhood memories

As my mindlessness is lost in my recent reveries

A tainted, tormented, tarnished today

Tho I can hear you from my darkness in my doom far away

Whilst my eyes fail to open picture me at heavens gate

Where my loved ones that have gone before me eagerly wait

Fear not for I shall feel the contentment and comfort in my accord

Forever and eternally in the arms of the Lord…
