In The Depth Of Night

Wisps of darkness streak through the sky,
Night is starting to fall,
Little lights starts to glow above,
Cool air is starting to swirl.

Scraps of torn, stray clouds drift upon my gaze,
But no matter how hard I try,
I cannot look away,
From the brilliant specks of light,
To the shimmering orb above,
The peaceful serenity of night hold my heart captive.
