In The Moonlight
For Jill's "moonlight" theme poem challenge

Every night her face reverberates in the back of my mind like an echo
These thoughts unhinged, I often cringe
This taste I binge but let go
Somewhere under the moonlight
With much angst and trepidation
It oft come back...
This beautiful tenebrous venomous black
And in that moonlight crystalline
Remembrance serves a dreadful dream
For love was fast yet tragic
Lost was I with it's magic
And some sunken part remains
That love has shackled up in chains and
To this day it struggles vain
To make some room for it to breathe
For in this often evanescent, often full and rarely crescent
Bless'ed moonlight lies depressants far beyond
What you have seen
And in this bless'ed moonlight
She...was all that I would need
