In The Moonlight
For Jill's "moonlight" theme poem challenge

Every night her face reverberates in the back of my mind like an echoÂ
These thoughts unhinged, I often cringeÂ
This taste I binge but let goÂ
Somewhere under the moonlight
With much angst and trepidationÂ
It oft come back...
This beautiful tenebrous venomous black
And in that moonlight crystalline
Remembrance serves a dreadful dreamÂ
For love was fast yet tragic
Lost was I with it's magicÂ
And some sunken part remainsÂ
That love has shackled up in chains andÂ
To this day it struggles vainÂ
To make some room for it to breathe
For in this often evanescent, often full and rarely crescentÂ
Bless'ed moonlight lies depressants far beyondÂ
What you have seenÂ
And in this bless'ed moonlightÂ
She...was all that I would need  Â
