Inner Light

 She was bright
 She was loved
She was my angel from above

 She was my light
My one star that shined in the night

I thought that light would never fade
But one day, it lost all it's shades
That beautiful ray, could no longer stay
My life...in dismay

She was a dancer
The only person to give me all the answers
But now I've lost her to Breast Cancer

Before she left
She held me with all her might and told me to always fight
" ' Dark nights may come , but never loose sight of what's right...I will always be here, in here (points to heart) , shining , your inner light. ' "

So every October , I give that light great life and let it reach wondrous heights
For the most gorgeous star that was in my life
My mom , who will forever be my guide
My eternal inner light
