Inner me

Insecurities

Inner me

My scars and stretch marks
define me,
You may find it legendary,
For they each tell a
tale or path
I've walked on
Those stormy nights

The changes I've noticed
And the thoughts
I have overgrown

But these permenant tattoos
engraved on my body
make me cover up,
because I'm ashamed
you might not want me

I watch you from a distance
embracing those other girls

I wish that was me,
but sometimes I tend to curl
