Innoncence Lane

Innoncence Lane

I miss the stars that smothered the sky
Just a canvas of black and I don't know why

Funny how the road at night sparkles like the sky
Wonderful how they switched sides but it's not right

Maybe the stars won't shine for me
'Cause I'm a sinning oddity

No matter what I do or what I know
Or what I say or where I go

I'll never be like any of these saints
A resident on Innocence Lane
