Insey winsey spider 🕷
Up and down her entanglement of gossamer maze
She weaves her interwoven trellis spinning in a daze
An interconnection of ensnarement
A meshwork of marvellousness
An ingenuity so unique
As this tiny spider twists with tortuousness
Such a little fitness physique
Her hairy legs skein a lattice of delicate fine silk
Designing a labyrinth of lacework as she adheres with her spider’s milk
This cobweb is sheer complexity
A fragile filigree so fine
An accomplished masterpiece,
Her sturdy table to sit and dine
As she diligently spins like an industrious ant
Her active perception scans to catch what may implant
Woe betide a tiresome insect
that this assiduous spider will espy
She will whizz from betwixt her
flimsy tapestry with an accuracy of a hawkeye
This aphid is a praying mantis
A yellowjacket in demure disguise
Enjoying an exquisite taste for creepy crawlies and flies
A household arachnid that debugs to be fullfilled
That’s if it lives long enough
Without instantly getting killed!!
