~inside the silence~.

I woke up this morning
My bags packed by the door
Not even sure why I'm still here
Or what I'm fighting for
I was running from the night
Afraid of my dreams.......
Afraid of the silence
the fading scream's......
I'm still here bags packed
Beside the door
Thoughts in my head
What am i fighting for.....
Dreams grow and quake like snow
Falling upon my skin
Cold breathing..... help
...im dying within
I ran from the night....
i ran from my dreams...
..... but I'm alright
What am i fighting for......
Dreams we earn, dreams.. we burn
Like flames from hell
I was running.....i was running
......Until i fell
I woke up this morning
My bags packed by the door
Not even sure why I'm still here
Or what I'm fighting for
But i will not give up....
up my bags.....closing the door
I guess some dreams in the night
are worth fighting for.....
I just don't know anymore.....
I was running.....i was running
......Until i fell
Dreams we earn, dreams.. we burn
Hot Like the flames of hell....
Dreams grow and quake like snow
Falling upon my skin
Cold breathing..... help
...im dying within
help...im dying within
But I'm not leaving.....
not giving in
I ran from the night......
i ran from my dreams...
but I'll be alright
I'll stay here and fight.....
Inside the silence
the fading scream's......
After all they are my dreams.

haunting lovely poem.. beautiful mix of words x
Thank you Evrod, love and hugs nardine xoxo
The dramatic movement of this poem is superb, yes it does have a song element to it as well.....overall tone is intriguing, inner struggle to be sure, yet there is hopefulness, with reality continuing into dreams, and dreams continuing into reality; repeated lines create an intoxicating tempo and surreal quality to the write....Nardine you are truly a word magician, this write took me along on a mercurial journey that I enjoyed immensely....cheers my gifted and beautiful sister from down under...nite
~~I loved the site and the poem, both the one and the other are worthy of that so genuine Nardine style. I registered and will edit a story inspired by "inside of silence" of Nardine in next. A hug.
