Insomnia

I lay here awake
Craving sleep
That will not come
I let my mind wonder
Of all possibilities and dreams
I listen to music
Trying to relax
Letting my eyes droop
As night comes
I lay here still
Exhausted
But as restless as can be
I turn on the lights
Crank up the music
No sleep is coming to me
