Poem -

Into the dark night

Into the dark night

In my sleep bring my dreams

Caves hold the dark and

The light outside dim

O Lord forgive me

For I have sinned

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In this dark night
Where I walk quiet
Not a sound left
Nor a heartbeat
All rest in graves
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wherefore art thou

In the deep caverns beneath the earth

How has this earthquake shaken

For whom do ye wait

Into this dark night fate

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There in the shadows
A mouse gathers its seeds
Away from the blood thirsty bats
That seek,
Taking ye soul into the dark night
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now ye know

What lies ahead of thee

The great Gods have fallen

Before Ye ~

To bid thee farewell goodnight

Thee ye has a point

I tried using "you" & he she

and felt thee ye was better

than

taking "your" soul into the dark night

my mind muddied now

yikes! & thanks!!
