Invisible me...

Invisible me...

It must be me
She just can't see,
Thank you,
From invisible me,
I walk around like a ghost
I'm a slave to the unknown,
I'm a friend scorned
Used like a pawn,
We can't laugh anymore,
We don't talk anymore,
She turns a blind eye
For this I'm surprised,
It must be me
She just can't see,
Thank you,
From invisible me,
She didn't judge
That's why I'm weak,
Although she did
See me as obese,
It's just me,
I'm the invisible
Social freak,
Now for overthinking,
Am I the victim?
Now for caring,
Am I the creep?
It must be me
She just can't see,
Thank you,
From invisible me,
I don't know how
To do this,
It's the laughter
I dearly miss,
Why do I care?
Because she is total bliss!
But,
I'm invisible me...

WOW!! WAYNE!!..... This is such a powerful piece ......and VERY complicated piece of subject matter....... because she makes you feel that she just doesn't see you ....for who you are....or what you are..... but then shines a light on ~

          ~ "Although she did
              see me as obese
              It's just me
              I'm the invisible
              Social freak.."

This is such a hurtful thing to do.... and a borderline abusive thing to do as well...... especially when they know you love them and are a forgiving person......a tough poem to write..... but you've done a stellar job with such a complicated piece of subject matter my friend!!......PINNED!!.....truly compelling poetry!!...... LOVE and ROCKETS ....T xo ❤✴?

Relationships, what turns them on, what turns them off. Hidden in the infinite of the human psyche, never to be fully understood! Touching sad poem.
