Iron Angel

Iron Angel

A tremendous golden star,
Wander lost upon my heart,
Searching for some place unknown,
Where the angels are alone.

As she guides me through the woods,
Heard the sound of a mighty lute,
Sweet as the divine moon,
Disperse her flawless winter lore.

As i played into the brook,
A strange shade fell upon my look,
It was an angel of the dawn,
Iron covered by the dusk.

His eyes, dark, sorrow made,
Cold, divine upon the sea,
Wings of might, shining stream,
Cover the snow away from me.
