IS IT TIME ?

Is it time my race has been run ?
Is it time my life is over and done ?
For I am nearly eighty three
My eyesight is failing and I cannot see

I look back on my life and wonder why
Is it time for me to die ?
My life has been full of wonder and joy
I have lived life to the full since I was a little boy

So dear friends it's time I went
My life on earth has now been spent
