It All Started With A Puff

It all started with a puff and ended in a bed.
He did drugs for years and sadly, he's dead.
It all started when my cousin took a puff of a joint.
I told him that he needed to get some help but he didn't get my point.
For my cousin, It started with Marijuana and it ended with Meth. 
He also took acid and other drugs and it caused his eventual death.
He was lying in his bed when his life came to an end.
He died while he was watching TV with his girlfriend.
The paramedics were going to give him CPR but it was too late.
Rigor mortis had set in and this poor man died at the age of 48.
Many people have perished because of drugs and it's a damn shame.
If you do drugs, you'll also die and you'll only have yourself to blame.
