~~IT MAKES ME SAD WHEN I SEE AN AGENDA

It makes me sad when I see the agenda
When I thought someone was caring loving and tender
When I discover grooming taking place
When I was looking for a warm embrace
But when eyes have been opened you can’t easily be fooled
When someone uses the enemy’s tool

The tool which controls that has you bound
The tool which manipulates that is what I have found
The tool to make you feel lesser than them
Where they hope you and self doubt become and item

But I rise above the hidden agenda
I run to the arms of my friend so tender
Jesus the one who knows all about me
Who lifts me up to sit on His knee

The one to whom I can always turn
The one for whom my heart just burns
The one who loves me better by far
The one who holds the door ajar

So I can enter my Fathers place
Jesus how I love your precious face
It makes me sad when I see the agenda
In someone I thought was loving and tender
