Is it not absurd
That hidden in the word
Life,
All the broken faces
Babies crying in places
Where even the sinful souls
Won't go,
And in this angry haze
Each and every day
We expect to say
I Love you...
Is it not absurd
That hidden in this world,
Waits woeful pain
And people pushing pills
Down virgin throats
Of unsuspecting souls
Whose final occupation
In consideration
Of legions of unbelievers,
Deceivers, and wielders
Of death....
And in this angry haze
We somehow find,
The perfect way,
To say
I Love you....
