It's All Good.

Today has been a good day,

A positive one indeed,

I've met a nice new someone,

A dates been set & agreed :)

I'm really looking forward to it,

My spirits are lifted high,

And to these past few moody months,

I can finally say goodbye!

I will not get ahead of myself,

These things take time,

But it has opened my eyes to realise,

That I am doing just fine.

I have come such a long way, 

I've grown up such a lot,

And now I'm on this upward ladder,

I refuse to stop. 

In life you must realise,

To be happy you must love yourself,

Put yourself out there,

No hiding up on that shelf!

For no one will notice you,

If your tucked away,

Treat every single morning for what it is,

A brand new day. 

My family mean the world to me,

My closest friends too,

No matter what goes on in life,

They'll always be there it's true. 

In such a short space of time,

I've accomplished more than I'd have ever believed,

I'm also learning to drive,

My pace of life is at full speed! 

My poetry flows night by night,

I can write in the blink of an eye,

I finally have full faith in myself,

That I can do anything if I just try. 

My nights are no longer restless,

My mind is at peace,

Only good days as of now,

The bad have been deceased.
