ITS AN OLD DOGS SONG

old dog down that rusty road
kicking up a fuss in yesterdays dust
playing  Dylan where only the wind listens
and love in the cloudy cloudy sky
has left you
in wonders darkest eye

old dog about time you died
all your friends have committed suicide
it's the stubborn dream Whipped
where the love is hidden in a salty briny deep
I watch you old dog
as you tempt that lover called sleep

the old dog you've been kicked
by the blind
loved by those
but left behind

old dog on a travelers binge
rescue your eyesight as it sings
old dog about time you died

old dog
you can never hide
