IT'S BEEN THREE WEEKS NOW

Easter has gone for another year
Remembered for all the wrong things I fear
Ten thousand deaths in the UK alone
Going outside is considered a no go zone

Streets deserted and the shops are closed
The virus makes our country feel exposed
How I long to return to normality once more
Feels like the virus is our enemy at war

So as I reflect three weeks since it all began
I know it's hard for every child, woman and man
Be brave and strong I will say each to day
Hope to God that this virus will soon go away
