It's Christmas in October

It's Christmas in October

I'm not one of these,
Who put up their trees,
when the last firework
blasts .
They're rushing through
November dragging December
by the Ass,
I like to gaze, Autumnal haze ,-
seeing at least .
where squirrels hide
nuts in grass..
December will edge forth,
straight from up North,
steadily bringing Christmas
within grasp..
in the meantime enjoy today,
for all too soon it's passed..
