Poem -

it's lush mun....

the children cry, sometimes and
we do our very best
but christ, you're still so vivid
here, we know you're not at rest
you're smiles in every corner and
your voice echo's this room
it's lush to know you didn't die
and yet you did
too soon,

for many reasons this little poem of yours is much bigger than it appears on the page on which it sits .. It is far more complex and well rounded .. it gives both nothing and everything away .. I have said it before, but on this occasion, I can feel the ache of longing and the vacuum an absence leaves behind .. x

Being Me

Neville has said it all, and he has said it perfectly. I cannot add anything to it  so I won't, except to say this is poetry at its best.  Hugs, sweet friend x
