It's So Vast
It's so vast
I can no longer
Pinpoint the
Main problem
That time has past
The problem has multiplied
Simplified the means
For it to last
And I'm left to breathe
In the chemicals
The pollution
The gas
And it's sad
Because they laugh
At my despair
At the fact
That I've crashed
And I can't lift the debris
It's so fragile like glass
It breaks at my touch
So I'm left with the task
To bury what's left
In this ruby colored flask

Hey ONLOOKER!!.........Carlos Castaneda wrote some~ on the vastness.........and found that within that which is vast.........there is a place where chaos finds a peace............and that within every great or profound experience............there is a place where overwhelming feelings are recognizable as a simple part of that which we ALL breathe in ~ daily.........your words are moving and sad my friend........and have the seeds of change planted in the roots of it............self expression is magic.............especially in retrospect............powerful write brother............I don't know what's happening in your life man.........but this was a very compelling piece.........."fragile like the glass........"........thanx for sharing my friend............T xo
Thanks Tony for a well thought out comment that has me thinking, that I need some book recommendations from you because you seem to read all the good ones :) I'm serious too but I love that you were able to find something in my poem that coincided with what someone else said I appreciate the love
