I’ve gone and done it again..

I was only putting on my socks whilst standing up, not sitting down.. perhaps this was not a good idea but it’s too late now as I frown, silly me I never think I’m always in a rush.. when I yanked my sock on my foot with an extra sudden push! Well “Damn n’ Blast” as I feel a sharp pain, penetrate my left hip.. I’ve gone and done it yet again..as I let out an almighty “Blip!!”

So I’m stood in the bathroom, I’ve just come out of my shower, I was feeling fresh as a daisy, smelling like a freesia flower..I’d be totally in the buff but there’s one stripey sock on my right foot, there’s something tweaked in my hip and my backs went caput!! “Hellppp” I yell as I grab my dressing gown and prop my weight on the sink to stop myself from falling down.. I tend to forget sometimes that I’m sixty years old when I leap about like a lamb, but now my body won’t fold

Ah well I’ll have to take it easy, I really have no choice.. I’ll just give my spouse my orders, he will be sick of my voice.. I locate my tens machine and fix it on my pain where I can feel the powerful electrodes as they wax and wane.. I love my tens machine, it always does the trick, it will soon have me as right as rain.. tho I’d better hunt out my stick.. Oh dear, I have an appointment today, it’s only twenty minutes drive so not too far away.. hopefully I will manage but if all else fails, I shall have to go another day to infill my gel nails
