I've got words

I've got words
Lots to say but their stored away
Even when I need to release them the most
I'm the quiet one, meek and mild
They call me the 'golden child'
But they don't know what goes on in my mind
They are indisputably blind

I've got words
So much to say about today and yesterday
But if I said it all I'd hurt, you would hurt
Once the egg falls out and breaks
The runny mess left is what it makes
The shells cannot be put back together
The shivers will be felt no matter the weather

I've got words
Too much to say, I could go on for days
But wisdom is profitable to direct
The words in my mind, I am unable to reject
But my tongue is mine to controlĀ
So those words remain mine and mine alone
Till I am ready to share
What I believe you are fully equipped to bare
