" A Jealous GOD "

Religion being a part
Of the glue of social endeavor
It is a joyous thing
When confined
Within the honesty of the truest hearts
Born from the heathens
In Rites and Ceremonies
Oddly delivered
Imagine THAT faith so long ago
When the leaders
Were Doctors of medicine
And the Churches leaders, poets
But the true God is a jealous God
And his worship
Will tolerate no mixture
For the fruits of unity
Lay in simplistic
Souls
Like YOU and me.....
