Poem -
The Jealousy of Happiness
Everyone has their demons,
My demon's name is grief,
He beckons in frightening summons,
And I tumble like a leaf,
I grieve the life I never had,
I see friends in joy,
But it never makes me glad,
I know it's wrong to feel this way,
Yet it's all I've ever known,
To see my friends emotions sway,
Is to see my happiness flown,
I live my life in jealousy,
In sadness and regret,
I wish be finally free,
But I haven't lived life yet,
How does it feel to be happy,
Dear reader, I wish to know,
Why is this life so crappy?
Will the pain inside ever slow?
It's probably overrated,
This joy and unknown bliss,
Sadness is understated,
When you know you won't be missed....

This poem is another i shall add as one of my favorites, which is how those that placed her in the nursing home felt, when they saw she was more at ease in her own home and getting better and her spirits were the best they had been in more then a entire year...Two poems that have spoken out loud in words, that my heart kept bottled up and protected, deep inside...Wonderful write..They hated to be wrong and see that she could truly be happy, back in her own surrounds and three of my sisters are nurses....Sad situation for my mom, to have been caught up in...Really enjoyed the read...
