     Jim Thorpe is in Pennsylvania
He was an Indian, an American Native
And an athlete like no other
    Jim Thorpe was a special man 
So they named the whole town after him
It's like a college football huddle
     Jim Thorpe is a special town
A bridge, a train, and mountains all around
Jim Thorpe has me so befuddled
     Jim Thorpe is a mountain town
Now it seems like Sacred Ground 
I was there today, I had lots of fun
