June + i .....

It might gift me sometimes, in
the hottest of a June time
It might wrap me in a honey
haze, guide me to a lulling
place...

It might gift me sometimes
A close up view of flower,
intricate and mellow, bathing
brightly in the showers and
lend me... also...

An intensely sweet aroma, a
sun baked earthy taste
Of its garden things so hard at
play... not a second free to
waste

So I might gift it sometimes,
on the hottest of a June time
With witness to its glory show
Applause... 
For all its sun kissed glow
