Poem -

Jungle

A slick breeze flies over sharp jungle branches,
Lost green vines twist intwined,
Gusts of wind flow sporadically,
Whispering to the souls of the night sky,
The iridescent light of the moon,
Glows in the morbid darkness,
Yet a sullen poignant romance,
Dances on the cold night air,
The spirits of the rain,
Float freely as dewdrops,
Too many a leaf did bow,
On the curved horizon,
Reflected on the backdrop,
Mountains of despair,
Ground down to silence,
Exponentially rising against the earth,
The unstoppable motion of growth,
Energy, balanced,
Always is nature, the law of contradiction.
