Just a kid

when you were 4

you could run around

with your chest exposed

laughing and screaming

in the summer heat

accidentally crushing 

your mothers flower bed

making your fake tears flow

but all was forgiven

for you were just a kid having some fun

when you were 9

 you couldn't expose your chest

for it had to be covered

with a training bra so small

making you feel less like a kid

but you would still run around

with friends in the summer heat

till the sun went down

coming home after bed time

but that was okay

for you were just a kid having some fun

now you're 16

and you run around with that boy

who only wants you

to have your chest exposed

for kissing and loving

yet mother isn't as happy

when you're de-flowered

and you come back 

after the sun has gone

and the boy with it too

with feelings so grown up

and tears so real

yet in the end

this too will be marked

as just a kid having some fun
