JUST ME AND YOU LEFT HERE

 
There is only me and you left in our home
The kids have moved on and decided to roam
Feels kind of empty without them around 
Only me and you here we hardly make a sound 

The kids come home whenever they can 
Linda has turned out great and Billy is a good man
We should be proud to have raised our kids so well
Of course it was tough and at times sheer hell

Now it's just you and me we will be okay 
Living together like it was the first day 
Fifty years wed we celebrate this year 
Not a day goes by I regret having you here
