Poem -

Justice

Passion for justice...too weak to say sorry.

Dont say how you feel...then you dont have to worry.

Lock me up inside...instead of them all away.

Release me from these chains...that they only stay in for a day.

Justice..Justice..a word so strong and meaningful.

Intertwined in a society so disturbed...dark and beautiful. 

Save them...Save me.

wow, Claire, this is fascinating, so well written... not sure what it's about, to be honest, with so much passion conveyed, I felt a certain 'reality' behind the words, poetry is a beautiful thing; you can appreciate and 'guess' the poets' intent, so I'm guessing that the so called 'justice  system' is being held to  the fire...sensing lots of irony in your words, Claire McDermott, I like what you did here, poet, it's provocative and stirring,  certainly a good post, cheers friend, interesting read, keep going with your guts
