Kaleidoscopic Musings

I imagine a place where all the goodness and tragedy of life exists. All of the happiness and all of the sadness; all of the love and all of the hate.
The only difference is that here, in this world, relationships are absent. All of them. No mothers, no fathers, no daughters, no sons. No wives, no husbands, sisters, brothersโ none.
No expectationsโฆ
But what will the children do?!?!
Well, they will grow right
Like forests and meadows and flowers alike
We wonโt pick their petalsย
And then tell them to shine
We wonโt plant them neatly
One by one
In a line _______________
Weโll let them grow wild
Celebrate where they grow
No fear of the farmer
No pot to outgrow
The heart of Sunโs light will radiate truth
A natural resilience
The foundation of youth
Theyโll only hear stories
Of when the birds were all caged
And laugh at the thought
Of a home-life once staged
They wont kiss their lovers
Just because itโs bedtimeย
But theyโll absorb one another
When their hearts start to rhyme
And when the storms come
All their tears will be real
And they wonโt have to question:
โShould I feel how I feel?โ
Theyโll grow old with confidence
That their path was the wind
And not be judged by a maker
Whoโd define all their sins
On one night, theyโll wilt
And then fall to the ground
Finding peace in the soil
Knowing life was unbound
