Karma

Karma

There was a time, when I drank the wine,
Smoking cigarettes, everything was fine.

Four packs a day, needed to change my ways.
What I did not know, there is a price to pay.

Now I try to live healthy, a lifestyle that's not wealthy.
Wellness is the key, spiritually I am not empty.

Hold my head up high, keeping it from clouds in the sky.
Keep both feet on the ground, remain stable and not cry.

Life is full of trials, it can go on a while.
Some exercise will do, I'll try to walk a mile.

Every day, only to say.
The righteous path, seems to pay.

Karma, simply being kind to my Momma.
Advised by Buddhists, including the Lama
