Where did your time go?
Doctors said three months, but it was really just a week...
Your smile I won't see here anymore...
Your stories I will no longer hear from you, but they will never be forgotten...
You would always be excited when you would leave the shelter with a fishing pole...
Going fishing get ready friends for dinner will be on me as long as I'm back by three...
Go get dinner Jerry your best friend would say...
You would look at me and smile and you would say send the fish my way...
Jerry I would say I don't control the fish...
You know how to talk to the one that does...
Just say your thing and I will believe just like you tell me too...
Whenever you would see me you always called me Angel...
People would say Jerry that isn't her name...
You would give me a wink and another smile...
You are missed...
Keep fishing Jerry...
I believe you are at Heaven's Lake...
Rest In Peace...

He was someone that would have been great to have as a Grandfather...
He was a great guy...
Great sense of humor...
We always would just laugh about all kinds of different stuff...
He found out a few weeks to a month ago that he was terminal...
I found out today that he passed away on January 23 of this year...
I had no idea he was ill...
I hadn't seen him for a while I just figured he was out and about...
He was...
Just not how I was thinking about it...
That January thing again...
Everyone loved Jerry...
He loved everyone too...

Jerry was a sweet elderly man...
We had a similar personality...
It didn't take much for us to start laughing and then people around us would start laughing too...
People even thanked us because they may not have been having a good day and they would walk away in a better mood...
It was really cool!
He went exactly how he wanted to go according to those that had spent the last moments with him...
No one was there when he took his final breath that morning, but people are still filled with laughter and tears...

Who cared for her so much

Whom his heart, had dearly touched
He used to love his fishing
And feeding all his friends
He'd promise them a dinner
And good times together spend
But one day his pole went unused
As he was reeled to Heaven's Gate

People are still mourning over the loss of a good friend...
His best friend is having a difficult time coping...
They were very close in age and I think he is just pondering on how short and precious life is...
He wasn't expecting to lose him that quick...
No one was...
He touched many hearts and he was always smiling...
He passed away very peacefully...
