“Keep yourself safe”

“Keep yourself safe”

I smile politely to people as we are passing one another along the way and often greet with  small talking conversation pleasantly to pass the time of day
Yet in these dark days of uncertainty with an invisible infection
I avoid any human compactness without close interaction

These are the distrustful days of our lives when each and every individual has to stay alert as one survives
Anxiety looms over us but it eases with education as we listen to the Goverment’s scientific advice as they address the nation
So relaxing lockdown throughout our amenities whilst opening pubs and restarting schools is what the leaders of our lands are proposing, though we won’t be anybody’s fools

We are well versed on Corona virus and know that if we maintain our social distance the likelihood of becoming infected should be zero in our isolated existence
And eventually throughout the timelessness of humanities hearded immunity this damn dreaded disease will disperse and die at the quickest possible opportunity
So the moral of my meaningfulness is that on this here and now present tense ‘Keep yourself safe out there and to use your God given common sense’
