We fear spiders, wolves and bears

fanged monsters in our nightmares

creeping through our minds

sneaking up from behind

we make them movies- Horrors, and thrillers

so that we can ignore that we're the real killers

we're killing our planet

killing each other

even in bible times

Cain killed his brother

we might see it as a failure

but what's even stranger

is that it's in our nature
