Poem -

KING OF NOTHING

In his kingdom he had alas not a bean
No worldly pocessions could be seen
He owned the clothes he had on his back
The streets he considered were his shack

On a good day coins were in his hat
Just enough to buy a Snickers or Kit Kat
His face could do with a wash and shave
One day nearer he thought to his grave

The man smiled as he rested in a doorway
He was the King of Nothing he would say
Travel light he did day after day after day
Just hope he gets through tomorrow okay
