kitchen fable.

The milk was spilt across the floor
Indeed it was a kitchen war
The eggs had had enough
The bread would no longer freeze
Knifes and fork's on the frontline
Standing strong displeased
Sugar and salt they didn't mix
Something in the kitchen
Had gone a miss
The mittens and the oven
Crying over their last kiss
What was it that i had missed
The orange's juiced themselves
Right in front of the apple's
The bananas stood in laughter
Something crazy about this day
A royal kitchen disaster
The tarts in the fridge
no longer sweet filled with poison
Begging me to eat
The lollies no longer contained
Dancing around the drain
in the kitchen sink
Water running
begging them to sink
Something is wrong
it's hard for me to think
My kitchen is at war
And the rubbish doesn't stink
Am i loosing it
my mind upon the brink
The kettle is boiling with anger
To see such a mess
The very question
Who started this mess
Won't one of you confess
The dinner plates were spinning
across the table
Something in this kitchen
Has become unstable
Would they tell me
If they were able
Maybe I'll write about it
A kitchen fable
I hope they don't tie me up
With that packing cable
This kitchen is insane
I'd run if i was able
