The Knife You Stabbed Me With

I’ve ripped out the knife

From my back

The one you used to ruin my life

You remember when you

Hugged me

And plunged it into my back, do you?

Fooled me with a song

About how

Our little fling could span for so long

What a colorful

Mask you wore

You tricked me to think you’re wonderful

As the blood flows out

You’re slipping

And you’ll soon be gone, I don’t doubt

The knife was so deep

Almost reached my heart

I’m still alive, this life I’ll keep
