KNOWING WHAT WE COULD HAVE BEEN
As the world continues to aim for its demise...
You have been watching over me and helping me...
You have been my protector even when people have tried to hurt me...
You have had a difficult job...
You showed me all that I have overcome...
May your protection and strength stay with me...
May I pay it forward when it's my time to come...
If this earth passes away...
May a new earth come to be?
Let our wisdom and knowledge always remain...
Knowing we could have done better...
Knowing we could have been better...
Knowing we could have been kinder...
Knowing what we could have been...
