He lived for peace and was a gentle man 
I am upset at the passing of Kofi Annan 
During his life Kofi was the Secretary of the U.N
He was the most wonderful and influential of men 

Trying for peace he was awarded the Nobel peace prize 
Proving he was one of the world's greatest guys 
Peace is what the world is crying out for today 
Kofi tried his best his legacy will say 

R.I.P Kofi your name will continue to live on 
The world is in a worse state now you have gone
