(Independence Day)

Independence Day

Possibly, you reader(s) can't read or pronounce
Some words written is in my second language...
Yet while writing's a peaceful style to announce;
Hoping you might excuse mistakes in usage?

Hereby, one might spot faulty bilingualism, perhaps?
However, if my parents were still alive, perhaps they
Could be quite astounded at what has here elapsed;
And being unsettled by my Gaelic's weaker display!

This Unraveling Kingdom (UK), is certainly withering,
Scotland/Alba is to regain its original world-place...
Independence's natural; resumed without bickering,
Là na Neo-eisimeileachd, Independence will replace!

Today, the 5th of September 2022, I've just logged in here; my visits started when I first became a member on 29 Dec. 2013... NINE years ago!? My love of reading itself began in childhood; yet, 'the inner-child' still enjoys reading and writing poetry.

Inded, I'm only a few minutes after using one of Rabbies (Robert Burns') quotes in a reply elsewhere; bearing in mind that he was born in1759, yet his international fame is celebrated while his quotations are still as valid now as in this day and age!

Im pleased to have been a member here and to be enjoying this lovely poetry comminity. I'm aiming to be a much more regular visiter in future,
