LADIES BEWARE OF CHARLIE

A lady was broken hearted in a packed church
There she stood with tears left in the lurch 
Her husband to be had decided to do a bunk 
He was a cad and a useless piece of junk

For he had done this trick several times before
This was the eighth time I knew of maybe more 
The outcome and upset was exactly the same 
Charlie Chapman ladies remember that name

Why should a man behave in such a terrible way 
Haven't got a clue I'm afraid and cannot say 
Ladies be wary and I ask please be on your guard
I don't want you heartbroken and terribly scarred
