LADY AT THE BINGO HALL

Every Thursday afternoon she would go
As regular as clockwork just so you know
She would turn up to the bingo hall without fail
All kinds of weathers rain, snow, sleet or hail
Then one day this lady had a big surprise
She did a double take and couldn't believe her eyes
All the numbers had been written and crossed out
At the top of her voice bingo did she shout
I won't tell you how much the lady won that day
A tidy sum of money though would be coming this lady's way
Fully deserved is what her friends do say
Skies are now blue for this lady no longer grey

A nicely done poem well written and fluid :)
Nice write angel
I'm giving this a LIKE because my ex-wife plays BINGO and it might just bring her a bit of luck if I do.
She could use some luck...
Dear Kieran,
This poem really hits home, because our Nephew in Boston is a volunteer at a nursing home, and calls Bingo numbers every Thursday afternoon.
BINGO, yelled the lady
The Coverall, she had won
A very tidy sum of money
Her happiness begun
Love,
