Lamb of God

I heard a choir of angels sing a 

glorious hymn to the lamb of 

God, they lifted their voices to the

sacrificial lamb.

They sang about his love shown

​on the cross of Calvary, Jesus

sacrificed his life for all, redeeming

mankind from the penalty of sin.

​He was wounded for our transgressions.

He was bruised for our iniquities.

He was crushed for our diseases.

​He was slain for our healing.

The son of God took the nails for us,

​his skin was ripped to expose his flesh,

his arteries and veins were bust, he

bled for all because he loves us.

Our Emmanuel offered his life for all

at the alter, he suffered beyond measure

on a old rugged cross and was our 

sacrificial lamb on the hill of Golgotha.
