Last Breath. Scene!

Nurses and doctorsÂ
gathered round,
regretful to informÂ
but somehow always calmly do,
They have done all one can
now, only concerns are makingÂ
mere shortened momentsÂ
comfortable for you.
Not much more to take in
unsure smiling through my lover's cries,
LIFE in a rapid second
passes before eyes,
No staff to plague this deathly room
family surrounds, once cheerful faces dies
looks of doom, thoughts stink, read of hope
when it's not left up to me to change their minds by yelling horribly, "Surprise!"
Will regret eat at me in all thats done, not do,
realizing he's here so come to grips with fear
speak softly something memorable to few
don't lose sight on all that matters through the battled tears,
Go please....with God's grace dignity,
wish them all happy, only they'll burst obscene
when I take my Last Breath.......
and Scene!

Hi  Devon  I read this last night it madeÂ
me very emotional and i could nt comment
so much of your words relateÂ
to my own experience of a last breath taken by a loved one
I can honestly say you captured this so well
That your words moved me to tearsÂ
Great write best wishes DebsÂ
Thank you Debs. Im sorry for that, the impulse was strong to write this and as much as I say I want people to be happy for me when I go we all know that will not be the case. This is a tough subject because I accept fate but to think about death it still stings the inside. Iam thrilled to hear that I captured this moment well. Iam sorry for your loss, this is life. Peace be with you.
Hi Devon IÂ am fine today, one sure thing we knowÂ
we are born and we die IÂ respect you for writingÂ
this piece when i read it it this morning i hadÂ
different feeling more to do with  a relevance toÂ
express feelings of death your poemÂ
helped me in fact to not dwell on the last breathÂ
taken.and i thank you for that  such is life i agree
My respect to you DebsÂ
