Poem -

Last conversation.

We didn't stand chance
It happened so fast, to fast for either of us to understand, I held on, and he passed over, never really letting go of my hand,

How do you tell a ghost your sorry, for that last conversation,

The fight, on the phone

The constant days, alone

My heart has this space
Chiselled with stone
words unsaid
Unread , undead to you

Yet I dedicate life's moments to a corner grave
And I gave my all, to find you there,

But I still can't bring us together, not now
Or ever

Because I'm alive, and you
My love are dead.

17 years in loving memory
W.P 2000.
